Solar Pool Heating systems allow pool owners to increase or maintain the water temperature in their swimming pool by harnessing the suns free energy. It is the most energy efficient and cost effective option on the market. Pool water is drawn from the pool and pumped through a solar collector, which is either a series of flexible rubber tubes (Strip Solar Systems) or semi-rigid plastic tubes (Rigid Panel Systems). These tubes are typically mounted to the roof of your house or shed. As the water circulates through the solar collector it is heated by the Sun’s free energy, before returning it back to the pool at an elevated temperature. This heats the pool to a comfortable swimming temperature.
